IKI-BA (イキバ 原宿)

From the trendy architects who run 246 Common and Aoyama Farmers Market, Iki-ba is a very original café/library hidden in the streets of Harajuku. This complex has several zones, two bars, a lovely tree house, a lot of outdoors seating, a tiny vegetables garden and a second floor library. Second-floor library and small exhibition room where cigars and pipes are on display. I was there after lunch time, so I enjoyed a cappuccino but their menu offers  izakaya style dishes, snacks, onigiri (rice balls), cocktails, beers and sake.  Looking forward to spending more time in this cool place.   I’d like to thank to Iki-ba’s staff that kindly let me shoot their beautiful cafe. ありがとうございます!! Jingumae 3-21-17. Open 11:30am-10:30pm (LO). Closed Mondays. https://www.facebook.com/ikiba.harajuku ❤❤ Please give credit where credit is due. Link to all photos, posts, etc. Play nice! ❤

Ura-Hara

If you ever read about or visited Tokyo, I’m sure you’ve heard of Harajuku and why it is renowned for its unique street fashion. The narrow back streets of Harajuku are known as “Ura-Hara” and are my favorite streets in this neighbor. Lots of boutiques, cafe and restaurants scattered around and definitely composing the hippest fashion spots in town.
