Almost everyone on the street is wearing tattoo tights these days and super-hot leg wear boutique AvantGarde Harajuku is responsible for this.
I visited this underground and oh so cool store and was welcomed by even cooler shop assistant (is that’s possible? YES!) Juria Nakagawa. All the stockings and tights are made in Japan and their designs range from Hello Kitty, to Saints, tribal motifs and Disney characters. かわいい!!
Japanese artist Choco Moo has worked her magic on the walls of this tiny and super cool store, with nothing more than a black marker and her imagination. She has also designed the exclusive “Choco Moo” tights collection for the brand.
